Booking Wrestling 101: Tommy Gets Disco Fever!

BOOKING WRESTLING 101: TOMMY FIERRO GETS DISCO FEVER!

What’s up guys!

This week I’m going to dedicate my column to a very good friend of mine, Mr. Glenn Gilberti. I’ve sat back for the last month or so and read this guy taking jabs at me week in and week out. Whatever. It wasn’t a big deal. But after last week’s column that Mr. Gilberti wrote, I felt it was time to finally step up and respond to him. While the majority of the world is getting Summer Fever, I am getting Disco Fever!

Here is what Disco said in his column last week about me and my response:

*Tommy Fierro needs to have his editor password revoked. Two articles on back to back days?? I knew he would’ve came all over himself when Punk won the belt last night. But what I didn’t realize is that he would find time from masturbating over and over to the replay of Raw to write another article in such short time. Can’t we just give him an official Tommy Fierro thread where he can post raw angles on a daily basis, instead of treating them as newsworthy items on the home page? Masturbating over and over again? No my man, that is actually what you do every time you watch Big Sexy in TNA!

I’m busting his balls (I know you are), but he deserves it after his two previous angles: my return to raw, and the Edge Vickie Guerrero wedding. I would be willing to bet a million bucks (Bro, seriously! Haven’t you learned your lesson with gambling!) that if you went to Tommy Fierro’s home you would find every WWF/WWE dvd ever made,(not every one, but I do have a lot) every ECW dvd ever made,(actually only one or two) every CM Punk indy match dvd ever made,(I actually never even seen a CM Punk indie match, outside of maybe one or two OVW matches. However, I do have a copy of your appearance on the Jenny Jones show! You were totally on your A game on that show you disco dancing fool!) and probably over 100 Granny 60+ pornos.(I actually only own 13 Granny videos! How dare you!) What is this guy’s obsession with having wrestlers fall in love with grandmas?? If you haven’t read his articles yet, give them a try, and let me know if you think this guy is perversely serious, or sarcastically funny (Sarcastically funny Disco, the Mae Young storyline was a rib. However, if Vince Russo wrote that you’d put it over like it was Hogan bodyslamming Andre at WrestleMania 3) I can’t tell. I do know that most wrestling fans would agree that they would rather not see Mae Young and Linda Mcmahon on their tv screens each week as opposed to the Divas.(as would I) I could be wrong, but i doubt it.

Okay now that I got that out of the way, let me actually give him feedback to one of his columns, since he loves to do so for mine.

He said in his column last week that there isn’t any more top guys in the business. I don’t disagree with that. But what I strongly disagree with is Disco saying that Triple H and John Cena doesn’t draw. Are you serious? Do you really believe what you’re typing? I hate to burst your bubble Disco, but John Cena probably made more money in his merchandise sales alone this past year then you have made in your last seven years in the wrestling business. This is such an ignorant comment! As for Triple H, he’s the best in the business today, love him or hate him. He, if anyone in WWE, draws. I think you forgot all of the DX merchandise they moved last summer. Are they the draws of Stone Cold, Rock, and Hogan? Probably not. But they do draw. If they didn’t there would be no fans at the arenas or watching on TV. If it was Disco Inferno against Norman Smiley in the main event of this upcoming Great American Bash PPV, chances are it wouldn’t do the same amount of buys replacing Triple H against Edge.

You got on my case since day one for suggesting that Mr. Kennedy and CM Punk were the future stars of this business. What in the world is wrong with that? I bet there are thousands of people that come to WrestleZone that would agree with me on that. Will they be a Rock, Stone Cold, or Hogan? Probably not. I never said that they would be. I said they were the future of the business. I still believe that. Someone has to be. Triple H, Undertaker, and Shawn Michaels aren’t going to be around forever.

More feedback from his latest column:

So why not Punk? Will he draw, i.e. help ratings? Probably not. I just don’t see him compelling people on Regis and Cathy Lee. (Actually a funny line, but get with the times! It’s actually Regis & Kelly. I was actually on their show this past year, you can watch the video on YouTube at: http://youtube.com/watch?v=0GvoABRWwS0

But I don’t see them losing ratings with him on top, because his resume when it comes to crowd response and ratings is no worse than any other guy they have. So we’ll see. I hope he gets a chance to prove himself, and I hope he isn’t a goldfish in a barracuda tank when it comes to playing the political game. In a perfect world, somebody in the WWE who has a fetish for granny porn will read Tommy Fierro’s articles on this site and make him head of creative. (That would be great, then you’d FINALLY have a job up there!)Then five years from now we will be able to look back and speak of The Rock, Stone Cold, The NWO, and CM Punk in the same breath. Oops! Forgot Kennedy, too.(Don’t forget Funaki) Well ,now that I think about it, he’ll probably have him fall in love with Mae Young and call the two of them The Punker ‘n Old Spunker. That was funny. (That was)

Instead of being negative in every column I write like you do, I try and be positive and come up with fresh new ideas for this sport we all love, professional wrestling. Are all of them great ideas? Some might think they are, some might not. However, everyone is in titled to their own opinion. I might think CM Punk and Mr. Kennedy are the future of the business. You don’t. You might think Kevin Nash was the biggest draw in the history of the wrestling business. I don’t. At the end of the day it’s nothing more than ones opinion.

I don’t have any heat with you at all. I actually get a kick out of the fact that you think so highly of me that you always talk about me in your columns every week. You, if anyone, should know you’re putting me over just by talking about me every week. If you really hate my ideas that much, I have a suggestion for you–STOP READING THEM!

Before I close, I’d like to actually congratulate Disco on landing the lead role in a movie! Why didn’t you tell us?!?!?!? I had to find out about it by surfing the net. To see the movie poster of the movie Disco will be appearing in, go to:
