Following the success of Mario Kart 8, Nintendo issued a follow-up punch with Super Smash Bros. U, and it was a knockout blow.
Boasting the largest roster of the series to date and a healthy selection of stages that each brought something new to the table, Super Smash Bros. U also came packed with game modes for both solo players and multiplayer bouts, along with online gameplay that actually worked (take that, Brawl!) and 8-player Smash.
We loved it, and it looks like you enjoyed it as much as we did, as you made it your second favorite game of the year.
