The first step to cleaning out your Costanza wallet is admitting you have a problem hoarding receipts, business and credit cards, maybe even candy. In case you're unfamiliar with the term "Costanza Wallet," it refers to Seinfeld's George Costanza, who famously stashed Irish money, random gift cards, sugar packets and other "important things" in his slab of leather, proclaiming, "I need everything in this wallet!" Yet it caused him back pain, required two hands to close, was laborious to carry around and once exploded. Yeah, exploded. Are you, too, attached to your "organizer, secretary and friend," as George dubbed it? I was once. I guess I'm still in rehab: My wallet's trimmed down ...

A little bit of knowledge with a side order of effort can help you save a lot of money over the course of a year. When I was a kid, my father taught me the "Rule of 12." When I started paying my own bills, I realized he was a genius. Take any monthly expense and multiply it by 12; do that for each of your expenses and if any number shocks you, it may be time to get rid of your "Hot 'n' Spicy" of the Month Club (there is such a thing). I'm not a big YouTube guy. In fact, when I type "You" into my browser, "tube" isn't even the first thing that pops up on my history. But when there is a video out there that everyone is talking about, I definitely check it out. Such was the case with "Women of LA," the music video about a guy (DJ Lubel) who moves to Los Angeles and finds out he's got no chance of getting laid because the women of LA are, well, so LA. The video, which was written, produced and created by Lubel and Jamie Abrams, was posted to YouTube on Feb. 13, and within 24 hours had more than half a million views. That, as we say in the industry, is pretty dope. But don't think that anyone can just sit on their couch, ...
