The Coachella 2014 lineup is upon us! KROQ in Los Angeles announced on Wednesday that Outkast, Muse, Queens of the Stone Age, Lorde, Motorhead and Arcade Fire lead a highly diverse lineup in the two-weekend music marathon on the polo fields of Indio, CA in April (4/11-14, 4/18-21). Simply put, it’s the best damn lineup for the desert festival we’ve seen in years.
After months of increasingly breathless speculation, anticipation hit a fever pitch last week with the arrival of the Coachella: Go Far video. The short time-lapse clip of a day unfolding at the festival served as the final fuse of enthusiasm. And now, the full lineup has arrived in all its controversial glory.
Topping the more exciting acts on Friday, April 11th & 18th are Outkast , The Knife, The Replacements, Broken Bells, Girl Talk, Ellie Goulding, Chromeo, HAIM, Neko Case, AFI, Bonobo, The Cult, Bastille, Grouplove and ZZ Ward.
Saturday’s lineup on April 12th and 19th features Queens Of The Stone Age alongside Muse, Pharrell Williams, Lorde, Foster The People, Pet Shop Boys, MGMT, Fatboy Slim, Nas, Kid Cudi, Sleigh Bells, Cage The Elephant, City And Colour, CHVRCHES, Capital Cities and Bombay Bicycle Club, among others.
Sunday’s run features an equally incredible group of artists, including our top picks Arcade Fire, Beck, Calvin Harris, Neutral Milk Hotel, Motorhead, Little Dragon, Beady Eye, The 1975, Big Gigantic, Chance The Rapper, Rudimental, STRFKR, Fishbone, J. Roddy Walston & The Business and more.
Tickets for both weekends go on sale Friday, January 10th at 10am PST. More ticket info can be found below or at Coachella.com. General admission festival passes for Weekend 1 must be purchased as a shuttle combination. All pass types are available for Weekend 2. The price you see is the price you pay — prices reflect all fees included. Layaway is no longer an option for either weekend.
