Watch Kanye on Kimmel as Duo End Feud: “I’m More of a Messenger Than a Rapper”

Last week, Kanye West and late night host Jimmy Kimmel threw down in a Twitter war centered on a parody reenactment on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” featuring child actors quoting lines Kanye and his interviewer exchanged during a recent televised BBC program. The Yeezus rapper appeared on Kimmel’s show Wednesday night, and cleared the air in real time in a lengthy interview.

“We kind of just took it back to high school a little bit,” explained Kanye when discussing the hostile phone call between the two after the sketch aired. Jimmy explains his own angle in the interview, flatly telling Kanye that “a lot of people think you’re a jerk,” but he’s aware of a much different side to the hip-hop lightning rod.

“I’m more of a messenger than a rapper,” explains West, who unabashedly calls himself a genius in the segment, among other things. Check out Part 1 and 2 below, followed by the rest in the playlist.
