We’ve been saying it’s about time for a new Eminem track, and like clockwork, the multiplayer trailer for Call of Duty: Ghosts drops the medicine. Check out an electrifying, brand new Eminem song off his new album, called “Survivor,” below – and we’ll just go ahead and assume the explosions and gunfire in the trailer won’t be in the track’s official release.
Back in June we brought you Eminem’s fire verse on Tony Touch’s “Symphony in H,” but this new track takes that ball and runs like hell with it. The song has been confirmed to appear on Mr. Mathers’ upcoming new album, and there’s a good chance we’ll be hearing the record before the end of 2013. There’s also good indication that he’s teaming with Big Sean for the project.
“Survival” premiered earlier today at the world premiere of Call Of Duty: Ghosts in a live, multiplayer event broadcast worldwide. The song was scored to the debut trailer featuring the first glimpse of the game’s wildly popular multiplayer mode. Following that, Eminem made a video appearance sharing with viewers news that a forthcoming video of “Survival,” including Call of Duty: Ghosts is in the works.
“Survival” will be featured both in the game, scheduled for release starting November 5th, and the marketing campaign, which will hit media in the fall.
Eminem’s upcoming album will be his seventh release for Aftermath Entertainment/Interscope.
