Playlist | National Vinyl Record Day

Vinyl record collectors are the equivalent of wine connoisseurs, both snobby and obsessed, they will travel far and wide in search of what they’re currently obsessing over and have a story for everything in their collection, boring the laymen with details when all us savages just want to do is just consume it.

Lea Sindija is a vinyl record aficionado, but she makes talking about vinyl records as enjoyable as listening to them. That is her job after wall, as “record concierge” at the Goodland Hotel in Goleta, CA, which boasts an in-house record store among its many other cool amenities (art galleries, in-film/concert series, pop-up shops). Whether you’re a hotel guest or record collector yourself, celebrate National Vinyl Record Day with Sindija’s personal playlist. Keep up with what she’s up to on her Instagram: @leajane__ and what’s happening at the Goodland @thegoodlandsb.

Lea’s Top Five Vinyl picks this summer:

Glass Animals – How to Be A Human Being

Blood Orange – Freetown Sound

Anderson Paak – Malibu

Alvvays – Alvvays

Bad Bad Not Good – IV
