Potheads are some of the nicest people on the planet.

According to WCNC, a Denver woman named Mandi Shepard had to work Sunday afternoon, which on its own is rather unfortunate. But her day got even worse when she returned to her car around 5 p.m. and saw that somebody had scratched her bumper.

After a brief perusal of her vehicle hoping to find a note, Shepard sadly didn’t see one, so she just hopped inside of her vehicle and began her journey home. A short while later, she noticed that the mirror on the left side of her car had been adjusted, and hot damn, it was because a note had been left on her vehicle after all. And hotter damn, it turned out that it wasn’t just a note jammed in there.

What else was stuffed inside Shepard’s mirror? You guessed it – 40 bucks and half a joint.

“Hey I am very sorry truley (sic). I am such a dumbass,” the note read. “Please forgive me. Sorry 4 the scratch man.”

“I was laughing so hard on the way home that somebody took the time to leave me a note and leave me money and half a joint,” Shepard said. “I’m not a smoker. I’m a runner. I don’t know what I’m going to do with it.”

Getting a half a joint, apology note and 40 bucks was definitely a nice start for Shepard. Now all that’s left is to find a mechanic who will buff out that “scratch” for just 40 bucks and half a joint.
