It’s too bad that I wasn’t even born when Freddie Mercury and Queen completely changed music with their iconic performance at Live Aid in 1985 that took place in London. And now years later not only is a movie finally being made about Mercury but the performance will be part of the film.

And who will be playing the greatest frontman ever? Rami Malek, who is better known for being the main character on Mr. Robot. And since we all know how Malek will look like as Mercury…

New Video Shows Rami Malek Playing Freddie Mercury In Live Aid Reenactment

…it’s now time to take just a little sneak peak at what one scene in the upcoming film might look like. Take a look at the video below to see cast and crew filming a reenactment of the Live Aid performance.

So far it’s obviously hard to tell whether this will be amazing or not, but at least Malek looks like Mercury and it seems like he has some of his moves down.

The film is said to focus on the music of Queen instead of Mercury’s life, which is one reason why Sacha Baron Cohen, who was originally supposed to play Mercury, stepped down from the role.

And for those that truly want to see an incredible performance check out the real deal in the video below.
