Nuclear Plant Forced To Apologize After Using Bikini Contest To Hire Intern

“You have a very impressive resume. But how do you look in a bikini?”

And that’s pretty much what went down at CEZ Temelin nuclear plant in the Czech Republic where a bikini contest was held in order to find the plant’s newest intern.

It all kicked off when the nuclear plant decided to go a different hiring route and instead of hiring someone through an interview process, a bunch of lovely ladies were called in asked to be in a bikini contest with the winner getting the intern job at the plant. The ladies were put in bikini and asked to pose inside the plant’s cooling towers and Facebook users were then asked to rate who they believed should be the winner.

Hell, the plant was even closed in order to focus all its attention on the ten recent college graduates posing in bikini for an intern job. And while a press released claimed the gals “greatly enjoyed the experience,” and were required to wear hard hats and enclosed shoes at all times, the majority of people were not happy with this student at all.

“The competition is absolutely outside the bounds of ethics,” human rights lawyer Petra Havlíková said. “In 2017, I find it incredible that someone could gain a professional advantage for their good looks.”

And because of the backlash the nuclear plant was forced to say sorry.

“The purpose of the competition was to promote technical education,” the company said in a Facebook apology. “But if the original vision raised doubts or concerns, we are very sorry.”

Oh, and it seems like every gal was a winner because the plant offered all ten ladies an internship. No word yet if they have to work in a bikini.
