When you order food and it doesn’t come out exactly like you asked, it can be a little irritating. I mean, when I want a cheeseburger with no lettuce or tomato, then dammit, make sure it doesn’t have rabbit food, you know?!
The best thing to do in that situation is to call your server back and let them know your food wasn’t prepared correctly. More than likely, the server will apologize and take your order back. It’s what civilized society does.
Then there are these guys, who apparently weren’t happy with how a deli clerk prepared their order. Their approach to the situation involved being complete assholes and launching avocados at the unsuspecting clerk.
Avocado Bandits Hurl Fruit At A Clerk
Police are on the lookout for two men, one of whom they’ve identified, in a run-by-fruiting that took place late last month in New York. Two guys who think it’s OK to waste food are seen in security footage hurling avocados and other fruits at the clerk, breaking his jaw in the process.
The 21-year-old deli worker had to have oral surgery to fix his jaw last week, according to sources who spoke with the New York Post. A broken jaw as the result of being hit with an avocado? And here I thought fruit was good for you.
Police have yet to arrest the man, but news like this makes it clear that they’re picking up on his fruity scent.

Update: this dude has now been caught, and while his name was not immediately disclosed, charges are pending.
