Based on the picture and headline, you should already know that this story comes out of Florida.

According to Fox News, St. Augustine police arrested a 25-year-old man Sunday after he admitted to trading meth for a stolen 2007 Chrysler Sebring.

Yup, this guy traded meth for a stolen car:

Authorities said a patrol officer ran the plates on the Sebring while it was unoccupied, learned that it was stolen and then just sat back and played the waiting game. Eventually, Robert Hardister walked toward the car and unlocked it, and that’s when the officer moved in to arrest him. It didn’t take long for Hardister to admit his occupation was none other than a drug dealer, and he was “holding the car as collateral while he waited for one of his customers to come up with the cash for some drugs that he’d sold him.”

Maybe it’s just us, but in a story complete with an assload of facial ink, cars being swapped for meth and of course, Florida, we’re going to say the craziest part of it has to be the fact that somebody walked out to their driveway recently and said, “Did somebody just steal my 2007 Chrysler Sebring? Really? But it’s a 2007 Chrysler Sebring. The only reason I bought it was because I thought of all the cars in the neighborhood, a 2007 Chrysler Sebring would be the least likely to get ganked because it’s a 2007 Chrysler Sebring. Well, damn you, irony. You win again.”

I’m sure the police were super gentle when they threw the cuffs on this guy: Oklahoma Man With ‘F–k Cops’ Tattoo On His Forehead Arrested By Cops
