And thatâs why heâs single.
Everyone has been on crappy dates â hell, one gal even ditched a dude halfway because of his looks. But not many folks sue their date after having a crappy date. Correction, only one guy does. And his name is Brandon Vezma.
The 37-year-old Texas man with way too much time on his hands has sued a 35-year-old woman because, and get this, she was texting during a movie. Vezmar reveals that after he took his date out for pizza, they both went to see Guardians of the Galaxy 2. And then he claims she started texting 15 minutes into the movie.

And so he told her this.
2/2 What contact after movie looked like: 1 text, 1 call, ignored > Text two days later getting serious > Lawsuit. pic.twitter.com/q4EOId868O

âIt was the date from hell,â Vezmar stated, making it very clear that not many people want to date him anyway.
Hereâs what the unidentified woman replied with.
âI had my phone low and I wasnât bothering anybody. It wasnât like constant textingâŚAre you serious? My best friend needed me right away and you said my phone was driving you crazy then I felt so uncomfortable. I canât believe you would take it as far as going to court. This is insane.â
The woman ended up bailing on the date and leaving Vezmar alone with âno way to get home.â Which means that she drove. So yeah, thatâs pathetic on his end.
This loser didnât stop there, as he reached out to the womanâs friends and family on Facebook in order to get her address. The hell?

And he even took it to Twitter to say this:
Apart from serial killing is there anything lower than texting in a movie theater? Not surprised texting floozy is playing the victim.

And then thereâs this:
What an interesting day. Never been called hero so many times in my life. Hopping on my bike and heading home.
â Brandon Vezmar (@BrandonVezmar) May 17, 2017
âHoping on my bike.â This dude clearly needs the $17 in order to start saving for a car.
Hereâs what the woman had to add to KVUE-TV:
âI did have a very brief date with Brandon, that I chose to end prematurely. His behavior made me extremely uncomfortable, and I felt I needed to remove myself from the situation for my own safety. He has escalated the situation far past what any mentally healthy person would. I feel sorry that I hurt his feelings badly enough that he felt he needed to commit so much time and effort into seeking revenge. I hope one day he can move past this and find peace in his life.â
The woman also adds that she will file for a protective order against him.
In conclusion, this dude needs a hobby.
