The First Drive-Thru Pot Shop In Colorado Is Coming Soon

Yes, Virginia, there is a Santa Claus.

According to UPI, the owners of an old car wash in the small Colorado town of Parachute have been given the go-ahead to open the state’s first drive-thru weed dispensary.

Of course, the folks who own the old car wash are also the owners of the Tumbleweed Dispensary across the street, but the Tumbleweed Express Drive-Thru is expected to take their high profits to another level.

Parachute Town Manager Stuart McArthur said he thought the drive-thru was a “very creative and innovative idea.” The Board of Trustees apparently agreed, voting Thursday to approve the annual renewal of the business license of the Tumbleweed Express.

In order to make sure that license doesn’t get revoked, store owners and employees will have to ensure everyone in the car is at least 21 years of age, have adequate security and surveillance and be sure that no marijuana is visible from outside the licensed premises, which shouldn’t be an issue because of the cover over the old car wash.

In all seriousness, this is great news for guys like me who just want to partake in some of that Cheesequake, Sour Alien or Face Off OG but don’t have 45 minutes to burn while the three rookies in front of me ask questions about every damn strain for sale.
