For everyone who has been disappointed with this season of The Walking Dead so far, last night’s midseason finale sure did make up for it, as all the pieces started to come together in what was one emotional episode, and the best one since the season premiere. But if you weren’t paying attention you may have missed one awesome tribute.
Just like you may have missed Abraham’s final goodbye to Sasha, and just like you might have missed that “secret code,” you also may have missed Maggie pay tribute to her late husband, Glenn, and her late friend, Abraham.
Throughout last night’s episode, Maggie spent it mostly by climbing the wall at Hilltop, waiting on her pals, but lots of folks didn’t catch the tribute. Maggie is seen not only wearing gloves that belonged to Abraham, but, and here’s the sad part, Glenn’s old baseball cap from the earlier seasons. Right in the heart.

Glenn was wearing the cap when he first met Maggie in season two, and now this is a nice way to keep his and Abraham’s memory alive. Look at the reactions of folks that actually caught this during last night’s episode:
