Did You Catch The Final Message Abraham Gave Sasha On ‘The Walking Dead’?

Just yesterday we told you about a secret code that hardcore fans of The Walking Dead may have spotted on last week’s episode, but now we have another little gem you might have missed from the super intense season 7 premiere.

While everyone was focused on the aftermath of Glenn’s brutal conclusion thanks to Negan and Lucille, fans may have not been paying attention to the small goodbye message Abraham gave Sasha before he came face to face with that horrible woman, Lucille. Now of course Abraham and Sasha didn’t have the history that Glenn and Maggie had, and Glenn’s goodbye grabbed the attention, but did you catch Abraham give his message?

Check it out below:

If you weren’t looking for it you may have missed it, but good old Abe gave Sasha the double deuces, a peace sign that was an inside thing for Abraham and Sasha. Check out Abraham giving her the same signal in other episodes.

Here’s what Abraham himself, Michael Cudlitz, had to say about that final message, thanks to The Huffington Post.

“The peace sign was something that ran with Abraham and Sasha throughout the whole series. This sort of unspoken very loaded peace sign … Going back into it, we had to figure out a way that he could basically tell Sasha that everything was going to be OK and to say goodbye, and that was what we came up with. For those who caught it, I think it’s highly, highly effective.”

Damn Right in the heart.

And damn you, Negan, damn you.
