Here’s A Dude In California Jumping Off The Roof Of An Eight-Story Building Into The Harbor Below

There are many guys in this country who think that life is all about going to high school, maybe continuing that education at an institution of higher learning, earning some kind of degree, landing a job in an office with solid growth potential, spending 45-60 hours a week sitting in a cubicle at that job, finding a good girl to marry, buying a house, getting her knocked up, being a father of three or four kids and then putting every ounce of energy outside of the office into said kids.

Other dudes think life is all about jumping off cliffs or you know, walking up to the roof of an eight-story building in Newport Beach, stepping close to the edge and then jumping into the marina waters 129 feet below. And remember, this is the same dude who sneaked into a hotel just to jump off a balcony. Now look what he’s done.

Not surprisingly, there were a number of people who were less than thrilled with 8Booth’s latest effort. Take Ghostlore, for example:

Also not surprisingly, 8Booth doesn’t give a shit what you think about his death-defying jumps.

“A lot of people think it’s stupid,” he says, “But you know what, I think it’s stupid to sit in a cubicle all day.”

Stupid? Yes. Safe sitting in a desk all day and not dying except out of boredom? Also yes.

Even better than sitting in a cubicle all day or jumping off of buildings? You guessed it: Being 8Booth’s life insurance beneficiary. Or this guy’s.
