Dad Takes Out Full-Page Newspaper Ad For Son In Hopes Of Finding Him A Wife

Boundaries, dad, boundaries.

If you’ve recently felt a tad peeved because your folks are too much in your business, just be glad you aren’t Baron Brooks. Baron’s 78-year-old father, Arthur, took it upon himself to spend $900 on a full-page ad in Idaho’s Coeur d’Alene Press newspaper. Why? Well to find his 48-year-old son a wife of course.

The headline simply reads “Looking For a Wife,” and follows with some very old school requirements. The only issue with this is that Baron had no clue his kook of a dad was going to pull this stunt: “I can’t even describe to you how embarrassing and ridiculous this is,” Baron tells The Spokesman-Review. “What am I supposed to do? He already did it. No sense in defusing a bomb once it’s already gone off.”

Some of the requirements the dad laid out include being “politically conservative.” And if you “voted for Obama or plan to vote for Hillary you are not for me.” And ladies, forget about wearing heels because Baron is 5’5″. And you also have to have aspirations to be a stay at home mom.

Instead of banishing his dad to a senior home, Baron is going through with the “wife auditions” in order to appease his father, who is going through some health issues.

The auditions are being held in a hotel in Idaho if you’re interested.
