Jolyon’s at No. 10 Offers Hidden Luxuries of Wales

You could easily wander right by the Jolyon’s at No. 10 Hotel as you take in the sights of Cardiff.

It’s not that this Jolyon’s is in a bad location. In fact, it’s walking distance from the city centre and Cardiff Castle. It’s also on the River Taff, where water buses can take you down the beautiful and bustling Cardiff Bay in a matter of minutes. It just doesn’t make a big deal out of itself.

Once you’re inside, the staff is efficient and helpful. The rooms are modern with occasional bits of old world Welsh flare in the furnishings. And, the Cwytch Mawr Bar and Restaurant is obviously a popular spot with the locals.

The nicest flare the hotel offers is The Writer’s Room – a combination meeting room, traveling office, business center and secondary dining room. It’s a classy touch hidden away behind the bar.

There are larger hotels in Cardiff and more historically prestigious destinations throughout Wales for travelers, but Jolyon’s at No. 10 is a quiet, comfortable and that offers you a comfortable bed without a bit of pretension (outside that clever Writer’s Room).
