Motorcyclist Somehow Survives A ‘Death Wobble’ At 130 MPH

Believe it or not, people still enjoy being idiots while handling a vehicle and going an absurd amount of speed. One of those people? The guy in the video below who decided it would be a brilliant idea to throw on a t-shirt and sweats and hit a Texas highway on his motorbike while going through traffic at about 130 mph.

And let’s just say that he pretty much almost killed himself. Have a look at the video below:

The footage was captured by the guy’s pal on his helmet camera. While no one was hurt, we can point out just how ridiculous this guy looked trying to stay on his bike. And we’re glad his dumb decision to speed through traffic didn’t cause any injuries or deaths.

Well that’s a bummer: Motorcyclist Gets Cut Off On Freeway, Ends Up Riding On Top Of Car

The Drive

And while there are plenty of visible dangers to motorcycle riding, the death wobbles—also speed wobbles or a tank slapper—are both less obvious and more serious than most. It’s a sudden, violent oscillation of a bike’s front wheel and handlebars caused by a few different mechanical and aerodynamic factors, but it’s hard to recover from and often leads to a bad crash. How that didn’t happen here, we honestly have no clue.

People on YouTube had no sympathy for this major idiot. Just take a look at some of the responses below:

No mercy. Now here’s hoping that guy is never allowed to ride a motorbike ever again.
