Stephanie Pratt told Maxim, "Even in high school, it was, 'Oh, you're Spencer's little sister.' When I got on TV it was, 'We hate Spencer's little sister because she's related to Spencer!' I've never had my own name."

In October 2009, she was arrested in Hollywood on suspicion of drunk driving and booked into jail. Stephanie Pratt felt the cops were lying in wait for her as she left a club, as she wasn't stopped because she was driving erratically, but because of an equipment violation (tmz.com). She subsequently checked into rehab.
Stephanie Pratt is also rumored to have undergone the knife for plastic surgery on her face. She has also struggled with bulimia in the past. She told Us Weekly, she began bingeing and purging after watching a scene she shot with Lauren Conrad in 2007 after first joining the cast. "I was horrified. I remember saying, 'I can't believe how huge I look walking over to Lauren.'"
She recalls another incident when she asked co-star Audrina Patridge, "What looks better: shirt on or off?" Patridge said, "On." Pratt added, "The producers never put pressure on us to lose weight, [but] it's embarrassing working with skinny girls."
In 2010, Stephanie Pratt posed nude for PETA's "Be Nice To Bunnies" iPhone application.
Stephanie Pratt said about dating in Los Angeles, "Ugh. The guys in L.A. are so awful. I feel like I know half of them, and the other half I don't want to know. They're all wearing Ed Hardy shirts and trucker hats that say female body inspector. But I'm not looking for someone" (maxim.com).
She added in an interview with Us Weekly, "I look for personality and sense of humor in a man. He has to be goofy and passionate about what he does. I'm very picky and I'd rather be single than settle. The qualities I look for in a guy I haven't seen. I just want someone who's nerdy, sweet and who doesn't have an agenda."
