Her measurements are 34-24.4-35. She said, When I was growing up, my mom always told me I looked like Miss Piggy from The Muppets because I was totally not photogenic (askmen.com). She even recalled being mistaken for a boy.
Growing up, Jessica Van Der Steen took to tomboy pursuits such as sports. When she was seven, she was hired as a ball girl for a local soccer team and modeling was the furthest thing from her mind.
But as she matured and her body changed, the idea of becoming a model took root.
Jessica came onto the scene with her cover of the April 2000 edition of Che magazine when she was only 16 years old. She signed with the prestigious Ford modeling agency, and she continued to work.
In 2003, she landed in the pages of Dutch Elle, but most Americans might recognize her from her appearances in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition in both 2004 and 2005. In one of her photo shoots in Thailand, she posed next to an elephant. This is so cool. She joked, Im going to marry an elephantit was wet, he smelled a little bit, but he was cute.
Jessica Van Der Steen has also appeared on the covers of Cosmopolitan, Feeling, Max and Marie Claire, among other magazines.
She is currently a Victorias Secret model, though she has worked with the brands Clarins, Dior, Libero ADSL, Carpe Diem, Espirit, Giovane, Guess?, Herbal Essences, Victoria's Secret, JC Penney, John Richmond, La Redoute, Marc Cain, Misake, Neckermann, Pandora, Talking French, and many more.
Jessica Van Der Steen has worked with Elite Model Management, Touche Models, Paparazzi Model Management, Francina Models, Models 1, Fashion Model Management, OKAY Models, E Models Management, Weiner Models, Modelink Model Agency, 2pm, Ford, Delphoss and Faces, among others.
Jessica Van Der Steen is attached to her country and would like to stay in Belgium for as long as possible. She has a boyfriend, but his identity is a secret she guards.
