She was born Jaime Faith Edmondson on December 30, 1978 in Bartow, Florida into a family of police officers. Edmondson lived in Georgia in her earliest years before moving to Florida to live with her mother and stepfather.
She attended and graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a degree in Criminal Justice by 2002, then quickly got into working as a police officer for two years in Baco Raton, Florida, specifically as night security.
In a big change of profession, Edmondson quit the police force in order to become a Miami Dolphins cheerleader. It was in those six years that people started taking notice of her natural talent, and things really started taking off for her.
In 2009, Edmondson and her co-cheerleading partner from Miami, Cara Rosenthal, entered into reality series, Amazing Race, as contestants for their 14th season. The female duo finished in second place, then returned again for season 18, in which they were quickly eliminated.
Soon after in 2010, she began making it big. Jaime made her way into the centerfold of the gentlemens magazine, Playboy, as Miss January 2010. In her photo shoot, Edmondson sported Cam Newton's BCS Championship pants, a fitting and unique decision for her Playboy spread.
Her networking with Playboy and love for sports led to several sports-related career opportunities, including her becoming a sports blogger for Playboy online and co-host of Sirius Fantasy Sports Radio. She also made an appearance in 2010s The Bunny House, a documentary about a 2010 playmate making her way into the Playboy world.
Also in 2010, she debuted in her music video for the Trace Adkins single "This Ain't No Love Song, where she posed as the object of Adkinss affection. Since then, Jaime has been a popular face online to both Playboy and Maxims websites.
In early 2012, Tampa Bay Rays baseball star Evan Longoria confirmed that he was dating Edmondson, saying Its been a secret for long enough, but nobody has really been asking.
Longoria went on to say that he likes her for her intellect, since she has her own radio shoe and blog.
Edmondson is a big lover of animals, canines in particular, and she does continuous volunteer work for a non-profit dog shelter.
