She was born on April 25, 1989 in Cabo de Santo Agostinho, Brazil. She has a white mother and an Afro-Brazilian father and she said, I am what we call mulata. Her measurements are 33-23.5-34.
She said she was discovered on the streets of Recife, about 40 minutes from her hometown. Her favorite things to do are to sing, to dance, to take pictures.

Emanuela de Paula said she got interested in modeling when she was nine years old and booked a supermarket ad. By the time she was fifteen, she was visiting modeling agencies and signed with the Marilyn Agency. Her first season was in 2005 in New York City and she walked the runway for designers such as Bill Blass, Zac Posen and Ralph Lauren.
Her favorite things about modeling are the exciting/dangerous locations and experiences, access to different cultures, money. Her advice to aspiring models is run after your dream, but dont run over anybodybe patient, if it is meant to be, youll have your turn. She said of New York: It is all very different for me, I like everything Central Park is very special.
Emanuela de Paulas list of runway shows is long and varied, including Colcci, Diane von Furstenberg, Jennifer Lopez, Kenneth Cole, Lacoste, Lucy in the Sky, Shiatzy Chen, Alexandre Herchcovitch, Salinas, Rebecca Taylor, Salinas, Tommy Hilfiger and more.
Her ad campaigns include the likes of MAC, Sephora, Tommy Hilfiger, Top Shop, and Victorias Secret. Emanuela de Paula has appeared in Allure, Marie Claire, Vogue and Womens Wear Daily.
Emanuela de Paula said, Ive always been treated the same way as the others. But too often [Im] the only or one of the only black [models] (vega.abril.com.br). Her guilty pleasure food is Brazilian food.
