Her parents Tina and Steve met on the set of "Bonanza." Coco has a younger sister and three half-brothers. Coco earned her nickname because as a child one of her brothers would mispronounce Nicole and call her "Cole Cole" or "Co-co." The name stuck. At six, Coco began dancing.
At 18, Coco began specializing in swimsuit, lingerie fitness and body modeling while teaching aerobics class and attending school for massage therapy. Coco eventually won the 1998 Miss Ujena contest in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
Coco has appeared in a variety of low-budget films including "Southwest Babe," "Desert Rose," and "The Dirty Monks." She has also appeared on TV shows such as "Law & Order: SVU," "Hip Hop Wives," but she is especially known for her own reality show with her husband Ice-T, "Ice Loves Coco."
Coco has appeared in a layout in the March 2008 issue of Playboy. Coco thinks her best feature on her body is her back. "It's naturally muscular and I don't have to do anything to it, so I like the look of it when I see it in pictures, and the only way I can see it is in pictures" (straightstuntinmagazine.com).
When asked if being in a steady relationship affects business, Coco said, "No, I think it actually makes it better. Everybody loves Ice, they always have been a fan of his, so if I do a shoot they know he's gonna be there, or if he's somewhere they know Ima be there. There know we're a tight couple so they want to meet us, so it actually makes it better. He's not like the regular boyfriend that kinda just sticks around that no one knows."
While Coco admits to having had breast implants, she says she has never had butt implants. Coco appeared on "The Doctors" show and had an ultrasound that proved she did not have implants in her buttocks.
When asked about the media attention on her body shape, Coco said, "It bothered me for so long which I why I wanted to do the reality show. And I think it affected Ice even more so than me because there were so many haters in the world. And he's like, 'Why are you hating on Coco just because she dresses a little sexy, that's why you're hating on her?'...I want to show my heart and compassion for people.I'm not just the model or that picture you see. I'm so much more than that" (digitalspy.com).
