She was born on March 19, 1984 in Lodi, Italy. She is probably best known to American audiences for her appearance in the 2005 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, as well as editorials for their catalogs. Her measurements are 31.5-23-34. Bianca Balti is sometimes credited as Bianca Biola or Bianca Baoli.

Bianca has worked with Brave Model Management, FM Model Agency, ICONIC Management, IMG and Profile Model Management.

Bianca came onto the scene when she was booked for the cover of L'Officiel. Other campaigns followed, including work for Dolce & Gabbana. She has graced the covers of numerous magazines, including Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, W, Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire and Playboy.

Other campaigns include Donna Karan, Christian Dior, D&G, Valentino, Roberto Cavalli, Armani Jeans, Missoni, Rolex, Guess?, Pace Rabanne, Anna Molinari, Guerlain, Revlon, La Perla, Cesare Paciotti, Mango and Thierry Mugler.

Bianca Balti later took part in a variety of shows for designers such as Karl Lagerfeld, Marc Jacobs, Alexander McQueen, Zac Posen, Fendi, Prada, Valentino, Missoni, Chanel, Christian Dior, Oscar de la Renta and many others.

She segued from modeling into acting and was cast in Abel Ferrara's film "Go Go Tales" as one of the erotic dancers. After she gave birth, she returned to the runway becoming the new face of Cesare Paciotti and replaced Angelina Jolie as one of the faces of the fall St. John campaign.

(Bianca Balti had a daughter, Matilde, in 2007 with her then-husband, Italian photographer assistant, Christian Lucidi. The couple has since broken up. She is currently dating in Frencesco Mele, a 26-year-old musician from Sardinia.)

Bianca Balti also appeared in the 2011 Pirelli Calendar. She previously appeared in the 2010 Lavazza Calendar and 2009 Wurth Calendar. In 2012, she became the new face of Dolce & Gabbana together with Monica Bellucci.

Bianca has said, "Happiness is the biggest luxury you can have in life." She added, "In my personal life, I am very quiet. I'm a mother. People maybe think I have a crazy life, but when I'm not working, I'm with her all the time. I don't have a nanny. I take care of her all the time."

Since having kids, she has more respect for everything. "With your daughter, you always have to be happy." But she doesn't have much of a social life anymore, but it's the price to pay.

Bianca Balti lives in Rome, but travels frequently.
