She started off her career at the age of 14, as a young model. As she grew older, she starred in and oversaw production for many TV commercials and short films, such as Love and Happiness (1995), Missing Emotions (1997), Gentleman B (2003), and Pipeline (2007), among others.
Her claim to fame came with her role as Hailey Nichol on the TV series, The O.C. Impressing Fox executives with her work for the show, she was cast as the lead role of Tessa Lewis in the series, North Shore. "I had one of those 'it's time to start living' moments recently, so I went to Amsterdam.

From there she went on to guest star in popular shows such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation as well as Entourage. In 2006, she married director/writer Jordan Alan, with whom she'd worked with on the films Love and Happiness (1995), Missing Emotions (1997), and Gentleman B (2003), among others. 2008 was a busy year for Righetti, who starred in Michael Bay's remake of Friday the 13th while starring in the series, The Mentalist.
When Friday the 13th was released in February 2009, it received the best 3-day weekend opening out of any horror film. In the same year, she won a Short Film Award for Best Actress for the movie, Matter (2008). In 2011, she starred in the blockbuster, Captain America: The First Avenger. To this day, she continues to film with The Mentalist; "Spaghetti Righetti is my nickname to this day. My Reunion co-stars call me Spaghetti Righetti. It's grown on me with time. You can't really fight it."
Amanda Righetti was born April 4, 1983 in St. George, Utah, the youngest of eight children. Her family moved when she was young and she was raised outside of Las Vegas, Nevada.
