This came as a surprise to her since she didn't know her father sent this picture. She kicked things off with a cover appearance with Vogue " Germany, October 2006 " she went on to do a cover for Elle " Italy, July 2010. Also during this period, from 2006-2008, she modeled in the Ready to Wear Fashion Shows.
From there, she became one of the faces for Guess Clothing in 2010, which was a big step forward for her; "It's overwhelming to be part of such an iconic brand. And with these girls " these past girls who've represented Guess in the past, it's just a dream come true. It's more than anyone can ask for."
She also worked with ad campaigns for Victoria's Secret, Intimissimi, Billabong, Blumarine, and Bebe, among others. Her Sports Illustrated debut came in 2011 with a shoot in Hawaii, being one of five rookies in the issue. Miller was surprised with this gig, and thought if she ever made it to Sports Illustrated, it would be for soccer; "I thought for sure that I would go pro. It's still exciting to be in the sports world in my own way."
She also took part in the body-painting feature in the swimsuit issue, in which Joanne Gair painted her. In addition to the photo shoot, she also appeared in the documentary, Exposure: Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2011, which gives a behind the scenes look at what goes on in the making of the magazine's popular Swimsuit Issue. The documentary follows the models and crew, including Miller, around the world from exotic location to exotic location as they explore local cultures and light up the beaches. She also appeared in another documentary highlighting the Swimsuit edition: Sports Illustrated Swimsuit 2011: The 3D Experience.
She also appeared in another Sports Illustrated documentary, Sports Illustrated: The Making of Swimsuit 2012, which again, showed the viewers what it's like behind the scenes of these photo shoots. She continues to push her career forward, working with four different management agencies: Nous (Los Angeles), Elite (New York), Elite (Paris), D'Management (Milan).
