Her birth name is Tania Raymonde Helen Katz and she is a mix of Russian and French ancestry. She can speak English and French. She was born and raised in Los Angeles, California and made her acting debut in the film “Children on Their Birthdays.”
Tania Raymonde’s eyes are naturally brown, but she wore blue contact lenses for the role of Alex Rousseau on “Lost.” She said she grew up on “Lost.” “I was 17 when I started, and I did it for four or five years, on and off.”
Tania said, “I’ve always wanted to do action and action movies. I grew up on that.”

She has also appeared in music videos, as well as other episodic television shows, including MTV’s “Death Valley,” “90120,” “Switched at Birth” and “Chicago Fire,” among others.
In 2006, Tania Raymonde wrote and directed the short film “Cell Division.” The film won one of the three certificates of merit awards at The Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival.
In 2011, Tania won the “Best of the Fest Ensemble Cast Award” at the Breckenridge Festival of Film, along with the rest of the cast for “Trophy Kids.”
Tania is also working on her first feature as a director, a crime thriller set in Orange County called “Little Saigon.”

She recently portrayed Jodi Arias in the Lifetime movie “Jodi Arias: Dirty Little Secret,” set to premiere June 22, 2013.
Tania Raymonde said, “The cool thing about working and meeting a lot of people through your acting is that you never know who you might work with in the future.” Should fans want to go looking, she had a simulated masturbation scene in the film “Wild Cherry.”
