Olivia was born in Bolivia. Her father, Jose Carlos Pinheiro, was Brazilian and her mother, Cotty Menacho, was Bolivian. Olivia speaks both Portuguese and Spanish. When she turned 16, Olivia started her pageant career, representing Bolivia at Miss Model of the World in Turkey. A year later, she walked the stage in Queen of the World 2000 in Germany, making it to the Top 10.
Her other pageants include International Queen of Flowers 2001, Miss Intercontinental in Germany and International Female Model 2003, among others.
In 2010, Olivia Pinheiro represented Bolivia in Reina Hispanoamericana 2010, in which she earned the Most Photogenic and Best Hair awards and placed third overall.
In 2011, she entered the Miss Caraibes Hibiscus 2011 pageant and earned the title of Best Body, which was the first time a contestant from Bolivia won. Olivia Pinheiro said, “I believe that Bolivia is the only country in the world that is multicultural, the most beautiful being the union of all of us under one name that is Bolivia,” (translated from lapatriaenlinea.com).
She was set to compete in the Miss Universe competition in 2011 when a journalist got hold of her faked birth certificate. (The age range is between 18-27, and Olivia would hit the 27-year ceiling.) The fallout led her to drop out of the pageant for “personal reasons.”
She continues to model.
Per her Twitter, Olivia Pinheiro lives in Santa Cruz, Bolivia.
