Not a lot is known about this Greek siren, but that is sure to change as her star continues to rise. What is known is that Marie Averopoulos was raised in a small town on the shores of Lake Superior and grew up fishing, hunting and camping. Seems like great training for the action flick "Tracers."
Marie Avgeropoulos initially went to college to study Broadcast Journalism, but then took a break and traveled to Europe on a soul-searching trek. Upon her return to Canada several months later, she decided to pursue a career in acting.
The story goes that her hobby of playing the drums coincided with a casting call for drummers where she found an agent. She subsequently landed some commercials. From there, she caught the attention of director Chris Columbus who hired her in her first film “I Love You, Beth Cooper.”
Inspired by her taste of succes, Marie Avgeropoulos moved to Los Angeles and other roles soon followed, including parts in “Eureka,” “Percy Jackson & The Olympians” and “Supernatural,” among others.
When not acting, she likes riding her motorcycle and playing her dog.
Marie Avgeropoulos splits her time between Los Angeles and Vancouver.
