Lauren was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 6, 1980. When she was 5-years-old, her family moved to Gainesville, Florida, where she spent the remainder of her childhood. After graduating high school, Lauren briefly attended Jacksonville University and almost played basketball there before transferring to the University of Florida. There, she studied animal biology, which fueled her strong belief in animal rights.
During her senior year, Lauren posed for Playboy for the first time in their “Girls of SEC” pictorial in October 2001. She was such a big hit that, the following year, she participated in the FOX network special “Who Wants to Be a Playboy Centerfold?” It should come as no surprise that she won. The same year, she was named the magazine’s Miss July, and more and more doors opened for the buxom blonde model from there.
