Kirsten Storms was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actress in a Drama Series. She was also ranked #16 in TV Guide’s 2008 list of Soaps’ Sexiest Women. She left her role on “General Hospital” in 2011 after being diagnosed with endometrioses. About a year later, she returned.
Kirsten Storms said she always knew she wanted to be an actress, “No one took me seriously. But I knew, even though I hadn’t actually watched [a soap], it was something I always wanted to do.” Her father worked as a sports director and when she’d go to work with him, she’d pretend she was the weather girl. Workers at the station recorded her “forecasts” so that Storms could critique her performance.

She took acting classes as a young girl, and was discovered by a talent agent when she was five. Soon after, she landed her first commercial for Galoob Baby Doll. At 12, she and her family moved to Los Angeles and she landed a role on “7th Heaven.” Kirsten Storms’ other appearances include “CSI: Miami,” “Clubhouse” and “Skate Boys,” among other projects.
While her brother was serving in Iraq, she worked with programs to support American troops.
In 2007, she tossed a cigarette out of her car and was pulled over, and then after failing a sobriety test, arrested for a DUI. Her license was suspended for six months and she was placed on three years probation.
