Hollie has been modeling since she was 16, mainly as a side gig while she planned on becoming a primary school teacher. Near the end of 2011, she entered Zoo Weekly's first cover-girl competition and won. Since then, she moved to Queensland. Hollie Nilsson admitted to getting carsick from all the driving (two days' worth) from Melbourne to Queensland.
Hollie Nilsson visited the United States and went to all the theme parks, as well as the Playboy Mansion Rock N Roll party. It's something she's always wanted to do and is happy she can now tick it off her bucket list.
Hollie Nilsson was also a semi-finalist in the 2012 Miss World Australia competition. She has also worked as Dynamite Ambassadors for Dynamite Solutions, as a cover model for Diamonds & Dudes, as a bridal model for wedding dress designers, a model for Keneric Racing (wearing red crop tops, black shorts and black jackets), V8 Supercars, Wicked Energy drink promotions, Rockstar energy drink promotions, Victorian finalist in the Ralph swimsuit model of the year competition 2010, Austar golf day 2010 and Noga Media. (Hollie Nilsson was cast as a lead female villain. The film beings shooting next year.)
On her blog, Hollie Nilsson said she has been very busy with lots of exciting photo shoots and jobs. "Most of the calendars I'm in will be launching soon and I will be selling them on my website." One of the calendars she posed for was called "Vanity for Charity," a charity for breast cancer.
On her Twitter account, Hollie Nilsson has tweeted Hugh Hefner. A few tidbits Hollie Nilsson reveals on her account: her father was born in Sweden; Hollie has a younger sister; she follows and occasionally re-tweets the sayings of Walt Disney; she is dating, but doesn't say whom.
She has subsequently become a full-time international glamour model, but hasn't given up on school. Hollie Nilsson is still focused on earning her degree and becoming a teacher.
