Francia said the best thing about her Mexican side of her family was “we’re loud and fun. From the outside it probably looks like we hate each other, but I love them to death!”
As a girl, she took dance lessons, as well as karate and ice-skating. She attended the prestigious Catholic Bishop Alemany High School where she was a cheerleader. Her career took off when she was in high school and became a model for print ads. She also appeared in commercials. In her senior year, she landed opposite Hayden Panettiere in “Bring it On: All or Nothing.” Francia was so busy that she had to leave her senior year due to the school’s strict attendance policy. She subsequently attended Birmingham high school in Van Nuys, a public school.
Other roles followed, including parts in “The Cutting Edge 3: Chasing the Dream” and “Shredderman Rules” and a guest role on “In Plain Sight.”
Francia Raisa wrote on Twitter “Success doesn’t make champions, challenges do.”
In an interview she said the most confusing thing about guys is “everything! They are bi-polar, one day they are crazy about you and the next day they aren’t.”
The easiest way to make her laugh is to tickle her, “but I’ll punch you because I hate being tickled. Other than that, I enjoy a good one-liner.” She added when on a first date “try not to talk about yourself too much. I like when things in a relationship are even. Each person has to have time to share.”
Her favorite comfort food is “anything bad for you.”
Francia Raisa is currently single and resides in Los Angeles.
