Elisabeth Rose Harnois was born in Detroit, Michigan on May 26, 1979, but raised in Los Angeles, California. It only took 3 years from that point before her acting career began, and then two more before starring in back-to-back films One Magic Christmas in 1985, and Where Are the Children? in 1986. You would think a child actor, especially one who started so young, wouldn't bother with college, but Elisabeth did, and graduated from Wesleyan University in Connecticut witha degree in film studies in 2001.

Just because she attended school all the way through college, that doesn't mean her acting career took a backseat. In fact, it was quite the opposite. Between 1987 and 2001, Elisabeth starred in over 15 different TV series, including the likes of Disney Productions' Alice in Wonderland, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, and soap opera All My Children, to name a few. These only lead to bigger and better opportunities.
By 2005, Elisabeth was playing the lead in her major network television series, FOX's Point Pleasant. However, the series was cancelled after one season. The following year, she landed a recurring role on the popular teen drama One Tree Hill. Then, in 2010, she was cast in another leading role on the series Miami Medical.
Sadly, Elisabeth was cast in the 2011 film Mars Needs Moms, which ended up being one of the biggest box office flops in history. Luckily for her, a guest spot a season 11 episode of CSI led to a series regular role. Elisabeth has been on the series ever since.
