Colleen Shannon was born on April 14, 1978 in Pelican, Alaska. At the age of 16, she moved to California, where she attended Independence High School in El Dorado county. From there, her DJ career began to take shape, eventually leading to the young aspiring model to be picked from nearly 10,000 applicants as Playboy's 50th Anniversary Playmate in January 2004. Of course, from that point, how could she not be deemed "World's Sexiest DJ?"
Since her appearance in Playboy, Colleen's career continued to blossom not only in the modeling world, but as an actress as well. She was soon landing roles in such films as "Miss Castaway and the Island Girls," "Sci-Fighter," and 2005's "Chasing Ghosts," alongside actors Michael Madsen and Shannyn Sossamon. She also had an appearance on the popular CBS comedy, "How I Met Your Mother" in 2009. Along with her acting duties, she still managed to find time to host a variety of shows such as Showtime's "VIP Access" and "The Red Carpet," as well as star on the hit UK reality series, "Celebrity Love Island" in 2006.
Of course, as sexy as Colleen is, it would be a shame if her modeling career hadn't continued. Luckily for men everywhere, it did, and as her star continued to rise, so did her appearances in such publications as Maxim, Loaded, and FHM. She also continued to pose with Playboy, as well as shot several videos with them to accompany the release of the 50th Anniversary issue. She is currently repped by the European Premiere Modeling Agency. Her career as a DJ continues to thrive on top of it all, leading to her first record deal, to feature the talents of such famous artists as the Black Eyed Peas' Will.i.am.
