She is notable as she was the only Spanish model to walk in the 2008 Victorias Secret Fashion Show since 1999. She said she heard about her confirmation for the Victorias Secret show while in the Budapest airport. I had a nervous breakdown, crying and laughing at the same time. I immediately called my mother.

Her nickname is Bebi, because it means baby, and it was something her grandmother called her. Her measurements are 34-23-35 and she has worked with Next Model Management, Mega Model Agency, Storm Models, Women Management, IMG Models, Next Model Management and NBPeople.

Clara began working as a model when she was 15.

She has also been the face of GUESS and AX Armani Exchange. Clara has also walked for a variety of designers, including Bottega Veneta, Nanette Lepore, Oscar de la Renta, Lela Rose and others. Clara has graced the covers of Norway Elle, Spanish Clone, Tevla, Moose, Glamour and Swedish Elle, and more.

She was named Best Model of 2010 by GQ Spain, and was awarded Best Model at the Autumn/Winter 2010 Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week. Clara Alonso also appeared in the 2009 Larios Calendar. She was seen in a TV spot for Agua Fresca de Rosas fragrance by Adolfo Dominguez.

Clara said of her boyfriend, musician David Feito of the Spanish rock band El Sueno de Morfeo, Before dating, we were friends. He is a normal guy. She likes to write, draw and make music. I wrote the lyrics of my songs. I have 8 themes that I would like to record.

She said of growing older in the modeling industry, Ive changed a lot. My face is sharper. Im not the same girl who started in the fashion industry at 15. She also said of guys who flirt with her that it doesnt happen very often, as the guys are quite shy.

Clara Alonso decided to get her driving license when she was 18, but she failed the theory exam twice and left. I like to walk and use transport.
