Brooke has one brother. She grew up in South Plantation, Florida, where she attended high school. While in school, she kept very busy, participating in cheerleading, basketball, softball, soccer and the swim team. But it was clear that cheerleading was her passion. In fact, she’d been cheering and dancing since she was two-years-old.
Obviously, her cheering and dancing skills (as well as her gorgeous looks) came in handy. Brooke made the coveted Dallas Cowboy cheerleading squad in 2006. She considered herself to be one of the more silly members of the squad, saying that it was often difficult for her to stay serious during practices.

On November 4th, 2011, Brooke tied the knot with Phillies’ outfielder Laynce Nix. The couple was married in the Bahamas, and many of her former Dallas Cowboy cheerleaders including Stephanie Heymann, Kandi Harris, Kelsi Reich, Jordan Chanley, Tobie Percival, Tia Williams, Michelle Keys, and Crystal and Trisha Trevino were in attendance. Having been married once before, Brooke also has a child from that previous marriage.
Brooke has said that she would like to one day work in sports broadcasting, although she would be a dancer until she was 90 if that were an option. As of right now, however, she is no longer a Dallas Cowboy cheerleader, and works as a stylist for the Stella & Dot jewelry company.
In her free time, Brooke likes to go on adventures and considers herself quite a risk taker. She has even been skydiving before. She also enjoys going to concerts, county dancing, saunas and, of course, “Shark Week” on the Discovery Channel.
