Alexa Vega was born in Miami, Florida and lived there until she was four, when the family moved to California. Her father is Columbian and her mother is a former model. Alexa has six siblings. In California, she attended Notre Dame Catholic High School. She can speak fluent Spanish, and is an experienced gymnast. Her nicknames are “Lex” and “Alex.”
Alexa Vega began acting in 1996 with appearances in “ER,” “Ghost Whisperer,” “Twister” and “The Bernie Mac Show.” But it was her role in “Spy Kids” that made her a star.
