She began modeling after she finished high school. She said, “To me, it wasn’t about the modeling and looking pretty at all, it seemed like the best way to travel the world and by doing modeling I could travel to the most beautiful places and work and pay for my own plane tickets at the age of 18.”
Adeline Mocke entered pop culture in 2010 during the 2010 South African "Idols" competition. ("Idols" is an interactive talent show based on the British talent show “Pop Idol.”) She was one of the Top 14 finalists. She said, “Singing has always been a passion, but I never had the guts to do anything about it but this year was a different story so we will just have to see how it goes.”
Adeline is inspired by Celine Dion as she came from a house with a “lot of kids and didn’t have the financing to help with her career, but she had a dream and that didn’t stop her from making it big.”
When asked if she was single, Adeline said, “I never kiss and tell.” She described herself as a total adrenaline junkie. She also loves Chinese food.
Aside from modeling and singing, she likes to jet ski, hang out on the beach in her beloved Cape Town, spending time with her family, or playing Guitar Hero.
She is represented by Pure Management, and according to her Twitter, Adeline Mocke now resides in New York City.
