Amber Heard Was Arrested In 2009 For Domestic Violence Against Tasya van Ree

I haven’t posted an Amber Heard and Johnny Depp story in a while, so let’s get caught up. She’s suing Doug Stanhope for “defamation of character”. No word yet if Depp is suing People and all of Heard’s friends. I’ll guess we’ll have to wait and see. She saved text messages from 2014 that show Johnny Depp abused her, but married him anyway. Why? I’ll let whatever reason you’re predisposed to believe light your path. On Friday, Heard had a four-hour “consultation” with Gloria Allred. I assume that wasn’t cheap. Oh, and back in 2009, Heard was arrested for domestic violence after assaulting her girlfriend, photographer Tasya van Ree. I hope Allred has a plan for that.

According to law enforcement sources and documents, Amber and Tasya van Ree got in an argument on September 14, 2009 at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. Amber allegedly grabbed and struck Tasya in the arm, which upset Tasya and triggered the arrest. Amber was arrested and booked for misdemeanor domestic violence. Her mug shot was taken and she appeared in court the following day. TMZ has obtained audio of the court hearing, where the prosecutor declined to move forward with the case — we’re told because the women both lived in California. The judge told Amber she was not off the hook … prosecutors could reconsider and refile within the 2-year statute of limitations.

This news is somehow already being called a hit job by Depp’s PR team, so if Depp’s PR has the ability to go back in time and make Amber Heard get arrested for domestic violence, then I’m not confidant in Heard’s chances to win this. It’s also been sad that “it’s worth noting that Amber and Tasya stayed together for several years after this 2009 incident”. I guess it’s also worth nothing that Amber and Johnny did too, I guess. It’s also being said that this was just “a misunderstanding” and is irrelevant to Amber Heard’s case against Depp. I don’t think we’d call what Depp allegedly did to Amber a “misunderstanding” would we? Probably not. She may have just “grabbed and struck Tasya in the arm”, but domesic violence is domestic violence, no? Downplaying an act of domestic violence to support another act of domestic violence, isn’t something you’d want to do if you truly cared about victims, correct? Maybe I’m reading too much into this. And by the official count, Heard is the only who has been arrested for beating a woman so far. She didn’t even have the decency to do it in the privacy of her own home like Depp. Not cool, Amber!

Meanwhile, Johnny Depp is making promo videos and hanging out at Dracula’s castle with Tim Burton.
