Here’s the first image of Girls star Allison Williams as Peter Pan in NBC’s upcoming Peter Pan Live! that will air on December 4th. First, did we learn nothing from The Sound of Music Live? Second, Julie Andrews already did this 38 years ago, so try not to panic when you realize “Allison” is a girl’s name and “Peter” is a boy’s name. Take a deep breath, it’ll all be okay. Remember when you freaked out when you first heard the news that white, British actor Christian Bale was cast as Moses? Same thing. It becomes less stressful when you realize Peter Pan and Moses are both fictional characters.
