This Sh*t Is Moranis. M-O-R, A-N-I-S



This Guy really misses Rick Moranis. So I thought I’d answer the question for him.

USA Today asked Moranis about his withdrawal from film:

“I pulled out of making movies in about ’96 or ’97. I’m a single parent (Moranis’ wife died in 1991 of liver cancer), and I just found that it was too difficult to manage raising my kids and doing the traveling involved in making movies. So I took a little bit of a break. And the little bit of a break turned into a longer break, and then I found that I really didn’t miss it.”

Though Moranis will come back to voice a character for the Ghostbusters video game.

And since I know you guys won’t let me get away with a post about a nerdy actor from the late 80s and early 90s, I found some pictures of Emma Roberts (Julia Roberts’ neice, Nacy Drew in the Nacy Drew movie) , who has been tearing around New York the past few days, attending the premiere for “Lymelife” at the Gen Art Film Festival, some sort of Parsons Fashion Show and I could have sworn I saw her stumbling out of NY’s racy club “The Box,” though the girl is only 18.

I think this might be the first and last Emma Roberts/Rick Moranis double post ever. We be making history (His story plus mystery).
