Shannon Woodward is an actress probably best known for her roles on the television series “Raising Hope” and “The Riches.” Most recently, she joined the HBO project “Westworld.”

Though born in Arizona, she was raised in Florida, where she attended Olympic Heights Community High School. While in high school, she caught the acting bug. She also got the attention of a casting director and landed her first on-screen gig on Nickelodeon’s “Clarissa Explains It All.”

Other roles followed, including parts on “Crossing Jordan,” “Without a Trace” and “Boston Public,” but her big break came on the FX series “The Riches.”
When she was 18, she met her best friend Katy Perry. Shannon Woodward joked that she is recognized “all the time. People just usually think I’m someone else. They’ll look at me twice, and I’ll just say, ‘Not Ellen Page.’”
Shannon Woodward told afterellen.com that she was working on writing a dark comedy. “I feel like that’s kind of where I live.” She added that she likes shows that combine serious dramatic elements with humor like “Orange is the New Black” and “Dexter.” “I write quite a bit. I think that’s what’ll end up doing later on life.”
Aside from acting, she plays the guitar.
She was once romantically involved with actor Andrew Garfield. They were together from 2008-2011. Shannon Woodward is currently single and resides in Los Angeles, California.
