Sarah Clarke made her acting debut in 1999 in a Volkswagen commercial. Other minor roles followed, but it was her role as the villainous Nina Myers on “24” that made her a breakout star. Apparently, the wardrobe department didn’t have time to fit her so she had to wear her own suit the entire season. She said, “It was a wild ride and it was one of the bigger TV jobs that I’d done, so I was very green. It was a very exciting time to be involved in something like that. But I have to say it’s also a character that by the third season, they really had to turn her into a bad guy.”

As for her death at the end of the season, Sarah Clarke said, “There are moments where I remember how fun it was to pour all my aggression into my work. Anytime you felt sh*tty, you’d be like, ‘Well, at least I’m playing Nina today. I can go to work angry.’” It was also while on “24” that she met her future husband, Xander Berkeley, and they married a year after first meeting.

Regarding her appearance in “Twilight,” she said, when asked, “Oh, I’d definitely go vampire. Werewolves are too hairy.”

She has also appeared in a variety of television shows including “House,” “Happy Endings” and “Las Vegas.”

Sarah Clarke is the mother of two children from her marriage to actor Xander Berkeley. They reside in Los Angeles, California.
