Korinna Moon Bloodgood was born in Anaheim, California on September 20, 1975. Her parents met while her father, Shell Bloodgood, was stationed on a U.S. military base in South Korea. Her mother, Sang Cha, is where she got the name “Moon” from, as it was her village in South Korea, which had no electricity and relied heavily on the moon for guidance.

Moon’s career started out with modeling and dancing, as well as being an aspiring singer/songwriter. Her first big break as a dancer came when she was 17-years-old, when she became one of Los Angeles’ own Laker Girls. Soon, she was dancing on tour with artists such as Prince, Brandy, and The Offspring. Moon’s stunningly good looks were also leading to modeling contracts with such cosmetics brands such as Revlon, L’Oreal, and Avon. Her abilities as a vocalist and lyricist had her recording with Darron Bergdorf and collaborating with Paul Anka as well.

In 2002, Moon snagged her first audition for a guest role on the NBC series “Just Shoot Me.” And with that, her acting career began to take off. Soon, she was landing guest spots on all sorts of TV series from “CSI” to “Monk.” In 2004, she was cast in her first feature film “Win a Date with Tad Hamilton!,” albeit in a very small role.

By 2009, Moon had already starred in two television series, “Day Break” and “Journeyman,” as well as co-starred in the film “Eight Below” alongside Paul Walker. That same year, “Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li” and “Terminator Salvation” both hit theaters. In 2011, Moon was cast as Anne Glass on the TNT sci-fi series “Falling Skies.” In 2012, she starred in the film “The Sessions,” which she and fellow cast-mates won the “Special Jury Prize" for dramatic ensemble acting.

Moon is currently married to Grady Hall. The two were wed in August 2011. Back on December 15, 2012, they gave birth to their first child: a baby girl named Pepper.
