Milana Vayntrub is an American television and film actress. She is best known for portraying her AT&T saleswoman character Lily Adams in numerous commercials and advertisements.
Uzbekistan-born Milana Vayntrub has a much more extensive acting resume than you might think considering that most people simply know her as the AT&T saleswoman from the popular line of commercials and advertisements. Her resume goes much further back than that, however, as she could even be considered a child actress since she starred in Barbie commercials at five years old. Of course, it wouldn't be until years later that she would start to take on the craft more seriously (well, kind of).
Milana attended Beverly Hills High School briefly before dropping out and getting her GED instead. Having lived in West Hollywood with her parents since the family moved to the U.S. when she was three years old, she went on to attend UCSD and got her degree in Communications. This was not what she wanted to do most, though, as much of her time was spent training with the improv comedy group Upright Citizens Brigade. It was because of this training that she and friend Stevie Nelson started the comedy group Live Prude Girls, who put their video out on YouTube and eventually attracted quite a following due to their, um, attractiveness as people. Along with this, Milana also began acting in CollegeHumor videos, as well.
Of course, Milana biggest accomplishment is still arguably her AT&T commercials, as they made her the new face of the company since debuting in November 2013. This even lead to a huge surge in television series appearances. Since 2013, she has gone on to play roles on shows including "Key and Peele," "House of Lies," "Californication," and "Silicon Valley." Coupling this with the numerous television and comedy short roles she'd done already, and she's made quite a career for herself at such a young age which will likely only continue at rapid speed from here.
