Luisana Lopilato is an Argentine actress/model/singer, known best for her roles in television shows such as Chiquititas and Rebelde Way. She was also a founding member of the pop rock band, Erreway.
Luisana Loreley Lopilato was born in Buenos Aires on May 18, 1987. While most actresses realize from a young age that they want to star in television and film, Luisana was discovered randomly by a casting director at the age of 6 while walking around the city with her mother. She was soon cast in a small commercial which opened the door to her acting career. By 2001, she had landed the role considered to be her big break on the Argentine drama film, "Un amor en Moises Ville."
Luisana's big break in film almost instantly lead to success on television, being cast in the role of Luisana Maza on the series, "Chiquititas" (aka "Tiny Angels"), which she is perhaps most famous for. Soon after "Chiquititas" had run its course, Luisana landed another major role on the soap opera, "Rebelde Way" (aka "Rebel's Way"), in 2002. The show revolved around a group of students at a prestigious boarding school who formed a band. Sure enough, the cast members of the series eventually formed the band, Erreway, for real, which went on to be a massive success and recording three studio albums before she left the band in 2007.
Along with her success on the big and small screens, as well as the music scene, Luisana's stunningly good looks and amazing body have lead her to a fruitful career in modeling. To date, she has held contracts with such companies as Coca Cola, Axe, McDonald's, Gillette, Promesse, and Ultimo, to name a select few of many. In 2009, she was engaged to fellow singer Michael Buble, whom she eventually went on to marry on March 31, 2011. The two welcomed their first son, Noah, into the world on August 27, 2013.
