BioLily has a half-sister, half-brother, and sister, and all of them are either models or photographers.
Lily's nickname is Charming Lily Flower.
Lily was discovered at her school carnival when she was in eighth grade. She had always dreamed of becoming a model.
At 17, Lily Aldridge appeared on the cover of Spanish Vogue. Other editorials followed, including Glamour, Cosmopolitan, Teen Vogue and Elle Girl. She has also appeared in ad campaigns for a variety of brands such as Bobbi Brown, Coach, and JCrew, among others. Her most recognized commercial is her 2006 "I Walk the Line" for Levi's Jeans.
Lily Aldridge walked in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in 2009, and once again in 2010 when she became a Victoria's Secret Angel. She called getting her wings "by far my greatest VS memory." "When they showed them to me, I was jumping up and down."
In 2011, Lily was featured in a campaign for clothing company Rag & Bone.
Lily told vegasmagazine.com that her favorite Vegas spots are the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Joe's Seafood. "I'm not really into the clubs, though. I usually sit by the pool all day or head to the spa."
In September 2010, Lily Aldridge got engaged to Caleb Followill from "Kings of Leon." (He proposed in South Beach, Florida.) They were married in 2011 at the San Ysidro Ranch. She said, "Married life is the best. I'm so proud to be a wife." She added, "Caleb is the man of my dreams. And you can quote me on that."
Lily gave birth to their daughter, Dixie Pearl Followill in 2012.
After she gave birth, Lily prepared to return to the runway. She told modelina.com, "I'm so excited for the show, I've been working out a lot and trying to eat really clean to get ready. It's all about balance. I'm eating a lot of organic proteins and vegetables! Maintaining a healthy, balanced diet is my number one priority because I'm nursing my daughter." To stay in shape, Lily also mixes up cardio, and toning exercises, such as boxing and Pilates.
When not in New York, Lily Aldridge lives in Nashville, Tennessee and admits it's hard to stay clear of fried food.
